3 Weeks Old - The Man About Town

Zachary has been changing daily which has taken us by surprise - we knew they grew quickly, we just hadn't appreciated how fast that really was. From the obvious things like Zach being much less yellow this week (jaundice is much better), and him weighing in yesterday at 4.34kg & 56 cm (which would explain why there are a number of jumpsuits that don't fit any more), to his face changing shape, eyes changing colour, and him being able to almost curl himself into a ball when having his nappy changed (there's not much control in the manoeuvre but he couldn't do it at all week ago).

We've had lots of visitors come to say hello (some even lucky enough to get their picture taken - thanks Alice & Em!), and we've been out and about a fair bit, partly to keep us sane, and partly because we've been feeling pretty good and figured we'd take advantage of it while Zachary was putting in good performances!

We've also had lots of requests for photos (eyes open/ with the 3 of us/ just cause he's sooo cute), and we've done our best to accommodate where we can - although have still failed to get one of the 3 of us, but figure with Fay & Michael arriving on Thursday night, there's an extra set of hands to take the picture for us now!! So as requested, here's lots of photos of the little guy, and the occasional one of us:
Set lunch at Waygu Lounge, it was a tough choice that day
First MTR ride, when taxis couldn't be found
Playing with Dad
Quick coffee at Fuel before heading in to meet the office and sort the medical insurance
Getting a little mixed up on who provides what - Dad's chest seems to always be a safe bet, but perhaps not for a drink after all
But for some shut-eye, its perfect
Or just hanging out in a comfy spot
It wouldn't be a true reflection of how Zach spends his time, if we didn't put in a few sleeping photos, after all he looks like this about 18 hours a day!
And for a few special minutes he kicks back with us and his toys that everyone has spoilt him with and shows us a little of who he is.

Lastly, we thought we'd entertain you with a little of the passport photo odyssey that has been taken place to meet the ridiculous, I mean stringent, requirements of the Australian government...
(not looking at the camera) (eyes closed) (both ears aren't showing) (too much expression) (mouth open)

Hope you're all well,
lots of love,
xx
Nik, Trent & Zachary
